ECWA CAMP YOUTH ALIVE

WELCOME TO CAMP!

CAMPER INFORMATION / RULES

Registration upon arrival; Sunday noon from 12:00 pm.

REGISTRATION:

When you arrive at camp, look for the registration table in the hall, and you will be assigned your room and room leader for the week as well as register for the crafts, with a visit to the nurse here. Don’t forget to BRING YOUR CAMP REGISTRATION RECEIPT FOR THIS REGISTRATION.

MEDICAL:

If you are taking medications while in the camp, please inform the nurse. There is a nurse in residence during camp for any problems to assist you.

CAMPGROUNDS:

You are expected to help take care of and respect the facilities here at camp. Our camp philosophy is to leave it better than the way we found it! Please help us keep a clean campsite.

CRAFTS: The registration for Crafts is included in the camper registration fee. This allows you to make one craft during your week at camp. This money just pays for the cost of materials. We hope you will learn skills to help you become more self-reliant, and busy your idle hands. GAMES: Relays, games, and sports require everyone’s participation. Come prepared with clothes for sports play. Girls…please come with clothes to participate in sports! RADIOS, TAPE RECORDERS, and HANDSETS: Please do not bring these items to camp or any valuables as it is distracting to the camp program and a temptation for someone to steal. Thanks for co-operating! AT NIGHT: All campers must be with their Unit Leaders in the hall and units at all times except when the camper wants to ease his /herself. We would like to account for everybody. IN THE DINING: Please only collect the food you can finish, do not get more than you can eat this is wasting. Our policy in this camp will be “WASTE NOT, WANT NOT!” Also, remain seated unless your table is asked to go and collect their food. For each meal, your Unit Leader will select a table “Hopper” for your table who will go and collect water and seconds for your table. This is so that we avoid rowdiness.
